1. It wasn't a far move from Perth, but still a big move. Maybe more so for the reason than anything else.
Everytime I move anywhere, every single time, it never fails to amaze me the amount of useless things I can accumulate. Same routine. Clean up. Pack up. Throw stuff. Give away things.
But one thing I hadn't tried before was selling up my old stuff. Jacinta suggested I try this. And I was very pleased to make a cool $200 from things that I would have otherwise thrown or given away.
One man's rubbish is another man's treasure... that's for sure. :)
2. It was easier to find a job than anticipated.
I have to admit that I was really blessed landing a job so quickly given that I didn't really apply for any position. I got a call from an agency one day before I left for Sydney... I got an interview a week after arriving.... And the position was offered to me in the same week.
There goes my plan for "bumming" few
